Grace! Grace! Grace!

>> Saturday, August 14, 2010

"When I think about the Lord and what He's done for me, I could sing, dance, shout, clap and run." Those are the words of a song we sing at church. But they are more than that. It is an anthem of how I feel about the grace of God!
He called us out (of the world) that we may go in ( to the Kingdom of God)! I am not just saved from sin, I have been made an heir of God through Jesus! My friends, that is an awesome picture of His incredible grace!!
I am sitting here reflecting in my own heart after thirty five years of serving Him and all the things He has allowed me to do for the Kingdom. It has been a glorious trip thus far. But it all comes full circle from doing, doing, doing to what Jesus has already done!
I have great anticipation for the future. The best is yet to come!! Be blessed!!

Joy In Ministry

Joshua 14:10-11

"And now, behold, the LORD has kept me alive, as He said, these forty-five years, ever since the LORD spoke this word to Moses while Israel wandered in the wilderness; and now, here I am this day, eighty-five years old. As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and for coming in."
These verses are about a man named Caleb. Not much is known of this incredible man of God. Even though God is raising up a new generation of young people we must never forget that God is not finished with the "Calebs".
God has "kept" these leaders "alive" and renewed their strength for such a time as this! These elder leaders are crying out to God, "Here am I Lord, send me!" So, we thank God for the young that is being raised up for the work of the ministry. But the young must follow those who have paved the way for their success!
I am experiencing right now the greatest joy of my life! Not only is God allowing me to continue birthing ministries but He is also allowing me to pour all my life's experiences into many, many young people.
I love the energy of this generation! What a blessing to be a part of what God is doing in this hour! One wise man once said "Find out what God is doing and do it with Him! Blessings to you!

What Are You Thinking?

>> Tuesday, June 8, 2010

Prov. 23:7 "For as he thinks in his heart,so is he."
God has a future for you! But your future is directly connected to your thought life. Our thinking controls our life! What you think decides what you believe, what you believe decides how you act, what you believe and act on decides what you receive and what you receive decides how you live!
Every lack or problem you ever had in your life started as a wrong thought and every blessing or positive change started with a right thought. In order to think right things you must think on these things; things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely and of good report.
So today begin to renew your mind to God's Word and watch your life change! And remember, God always directs you toward your future! Blessings!!

Depression Feeds Off Emotions

>> Monday, May 17, 2010

Philippians 4:13
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

It is so sad to see how many of God's people live a life of depression!
Depression means= emotional dejection and withdrawal. Watch this, it also means= an area lower than the surrounding surface. Which means when you live through your emotions you are tossed up and down in your walk with God. In other words Beloved, you are living the low life and not His High life!
Jesus said in John 10:10, that He came to give you "Life to the full, til it overflows, nothing missing and nothing broken!" In other words, Jesus gave you a "surrounding surface", an even playing field. You have the victory in Jesus Name!
Ask God for a revelation of His grace and then accept it by faith. That is how you overcome depression. What can you do today to build your faith? I'll give you a hint, His Word! And always remember, God is not mad at you! Blessings!
